Dr. Christopher Schmidt was born and raised near Albany, NY and currently resides near Scranton, PA. While in high school, Dr. Chris realized how much he enjoyed helping people and working with his hands. This lead to a six month project where he researched chiropractic and observed several chiropractors in the area. Following this experience, his love and knowledge for the profession grew; it was then he knew that Chiropractic was the career path for him.

Dr. Chris received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious New York Chiropractic College in 2011. Throughout his time there he became proficient in both Anatomy and Radiology; often tutoring his classmates in these challenging courses. Dr. Chris was also involved in Sports Club; ultimately leading to taking a dedicated course on treating and diagnosing elite athletes. The information gleaned from this course aided in refining his diagnostic and treatment skills; which he applies to patients from all walks of life.

Dr. Chris is experienced in various adjusting techniques, including diversified, activator, drop table, flexion-distraction, trigger point release, soft tissue work, extremity adjusting, and pediatric adjusting.

Dr. Jessica Kovalchik D.C.

Dr. Jessica Kovalchik D.C.

Dr. Jessica Kovalchik was raised and currently resides near Scranton, PA. Although she had been treated by chiropractors since she was a teenager suffering from sports injuries; it was not until her second year in college that she decided on a career in chiropractic. She attended Marywood University’s accelerated program into chiropractic.

Dr. Jess received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the distinguished New York Chiropractic College in 2011. While there, she was inducted into the Phi Chi Omega honor society. Dr. Jess was an active member of sports club and attended many functions where she treated both elite and non-elite athletes. This experience helped her to diagnose and treat quickly. It also taught her the importance of rehabilitation and muscle treatment to aid in injury recovery. This is the theory she applies to all her patients.

Dr. Jess is experienced in various adjusting techniques, including diversified, activator, drop table, flexion-distraction, SOT, trigger point release, soft tissue work, extremity adjusting, and passive neuromuscular facilitation.
